When they were crying about Jericho saying he witnessed it, you could tell that they were just heavily relying on their source and couldn't disprove what Jericho was saying, so they attacked him personally. Maybe Punk's camp just forgot to mention to them that Jericho knew more than the average person there. There is a reason they only talked about Punk's perspective and probably couldn't go in depth because they knew he was trying to sue or get money out of the bucks
