This I don't have as much of a problem with, but not for the right reasons. The Fiend was the hottest thing in the company by far at the time, and there was zero chance they were going to be able to book him properly long term. So fuck it, put the belt on him now, strike while the iron's hot.

If the referee truly believed Bray was beaten to the point he could no longer compete (which he wasn't, making this pointless), then Seth should have been declared the winner by knockout. Nah, I watched this disaster in real time. I hated the red lights from the jump then came the no selling which was okay at first but then it just got silly.
