Jericho or HHH (probably would have betrayed HBK at some point), or in their in a pickle they still have Taker, an Attitude Era without The Rock probably butterflys away his Hollywood career since he doesnt have the WWF to springboard to it either, so i guess thats another plus.

if Takers injury still happens then Vince puts the strap on Jericho or HHH, without The Rock being pushed then he probably would have gotten a rematch between Austin and HBK at WM15, probably HHH going heel earlier too afterwards

He didn't actually hurt his back. Vince had finally given up on him after losing money for half a decade. Shawn was devastated he didn't just fall out of favor of his boss but also his lover.
Attitude era would have played out the same. Maybe HBK would have jumped to WCW and shit up their locker room even more. If he did that he would have spiralled out and finally died of a drug overdose, so it would have actually had a bigger impact on the ruthless aggression era. We would have never got his comeback, where he finally got out of his own way and by the power of Christ actually became the decent wrestler everyone pretended he was in the 90s.

This is quite remarkable to think about. The Rock might actually be a serious contender for President in 2028 or some day. So in a "different timeline" Shawn Michaels simply staying off the drugs (or Taker not throwing him on a casket if the official narrative is to be believed) could potentially alter the entire course of American history
