It's mostly lingering issues, because he hasn't taken a break since he won the title. I think part of it is because he was essentially a part timer before winning the belt (seriously, he'd mostly cut promos, but barely did any wrestling). So I guess his body is not used to the grind. That and him pushing his body further and doing retarded risky spots that he's never done before.
