It happened even before that. I like some of what Cody does but his booking of the Codyverse in AEW didn't do anyone aside from Darby any favors. It killed Andrade and Black right off the bat. He's as bad as Phil in that regard.

I love that hes a neat character that stands out and is perfectly willing to get the shit kicked out of him almost all the time. She was a good one. She actually wrestled back in 2019 having one of the best womens matches of year 1 despite like no hype. She came back as a heel but is so damn good in the ring the fans would cheer her evil faction and they didnt a somewhat too sudden double turn. It let her become champ at Toni Storms expense but it did lead to her character change that has done wornders so its ok. Hoping to see them face each other at Wembly for the womens title
