>>12783777Pretty much as soon as AEW got a TV deal and it became apparent that BTE wasn't just them ribbing and popping the boys with a dumb shtick, but what they actually want to do and be like in wrestling 24/7 if left to their own devices.
In NJPW, where they were on tight rails and following other peoples' booking notes and lead, they were good, perhaps even dimes.
In PWG, where they did what they want, they sucked.
In AEW, they do what they want and can fuck over anyone who tries to put them back on rails, and get paid so much with so many hangers on that their egos have gone out of control over it.
I'm so sick of California hipster irony & post-irony, and they're the people more responsible than anyone for infecting wrestling with that attitude. I can handle Orange Cassidy over them because he occasionally does stuff like the Moxley match where he isn't such a hipster dipshit and turns the gimmick into something based.
