>>12785670The thing about this is his wording. He says '....we got away with murder too....' The keyword is too. The interviewer is talking about the stuff, controversial stuff they got away with in the context of pro wrestling. The word 'too' is significant because Sullivan is making a distinction between what the interviewer is talking about and what he is talking about, as if they are not talking about the same thing.
The babbling and tripping on words just before he says that line, the small pause that exists just after he says 'murder' and before he says 'too' and the slight change in tone when he says the word 'too' indicates very strongly the distinction being made is intentional and was thought through in his mind before he said it and not someone just spitting out a cliche figure of speech.
He then changes the tone again significantly immediately after when he says '...and another thing....'. You have heard before that it is recommend to change you tone often when for example giving a lecture and it helps keep peoples attention on what your saying. This all strongly suggests he is moving on quickly from whatever distinction he was just making and by changing his tone of voice as significantly as he did he is attempting to take the listeners attention with him, take the listeners attention to what he is saying now and away from what he just said. That's all without analyzing the Hitler line about saying the biggest lie over and over again. If Benoit isn't responsible for the murders, then it's a big lie told over and over again that is effectively the truth.
