i watched this as a kid, and didn't see any breaking of kayfabe. i saw it through a rocky lens. hogan was old, so had to rely on power game against a younger shawn. hogan attacked with such power shawn was flung with tremendous momentum. this is corroborated by hogan angrily throwing his bandana at shawn right at the beginning. he had some extra sauce on those attacks, just like when rock licked his hand for extra sauce. maybe if you weren't such a smelly smark you'd understand kayfabe

Hogan destroyed him and embarrassed him so badly out there, so called Mr wrestle mania, on the grandest stage of them all, Hogan beat him up so bad hbk actually backed out of the best of 7 series they had planned.he said "Vince, we cant do this.." and if you actually look, you cant find any footage of that wrestlemania on the network now. it's been erased.
