>>12790106I don't believe the idea that more promotions is good for the health of the industry from a fan perspective. From a worker perspective? Sure. But as a fan, I see AEW and I see another guy with infinite backing hoarding talent and doing fuck all of worth with them, I see another paypig which discourages their improvement. It's no longer a matter of fighting tooth and nail for the few paychecks going around, everyone, no matter how bad, gets a paycheck, gets a built-in fanbase, and never has to improve ever again, because they're set for life.
I want LESS opportunities for the workers so they have to be good to get the few going around.
But, more than that, above all else, it's funny.
