>>12795351Kinda interesting that no mention of Megah (fmr,. Head of Legal) came out during the first reports/leaks . Why didnt "those familiar with Punk" leak that info? Maybe because it bite holes in the ever changing story of Phil's leakers.
So, the Bucks go to Phil (after Phil said his door is open, but it not really open), they bring head of legal for the company. Super kick the door down and start brawling, attacking Punk and Ace, injuring Phil's dog (later found not true). All while AEW Head of Legal is witnessing it all. Also, why did the Bucks even bring Megan for? Punkcels will say it's because she's a Buck loyalist and would back up the bucks side. But, why go at all? If Megan was already a Bucks loyalist why put your job at risk when you know shit is about to go down?
Isn't wrestling a business where guys fake fight, take bumps, and used to Duke it out in the locker room back in the day? After Brawl Out Scrum Phil buried the roster and the company. He killed whatever respect people had for Tony Khan as a legitimate leader. EVPs see this, take Punk up on his "Door is always open" offer and people clutch pearls and expect wrestlers not to fight back stage, given these circumstances. lol that's just a sad state of fandom for "the business"
Brawl Out wouldn't have happened had Tony Khan dealt with the situation properly/professionally. That scrum was Phil not giving any fucks and purposefully went in to bury the company. And Tony sat there and looked uncomfortable, never interjected, and agreed by nodding to some of what Phil was saying. The scrum buried MJF and the planned feud to happen after. This was on tony for not controlling talent or mediating backstage issues.
Brawl Out was the begining of the end of this company. And will be pointed at whenever a documentary comes out after AEW/NDAs end.
The Sparkler Match was the canary in the cole mine.
