It makes the entire thing seem ultra shady. If she was free to just go on IG and say "Jericho tricked me into going to his hotel room alone, then took a pass at me" - people would call Jericho a creep and move along. But the idea she can't share her AEW experience at all, in any way shape or form, makes people wonder just how many talents this applies to.
Did Bunny have something like this happen? Does she also have an NDA, so she couldn't share even if she wanted to? What about Swole? Did anyone at AEW shoot their shot at Jade, Lufisto, Madi, etc? Did they all sign NDAs as well? Until we get to the bottom of AEW and their constant use of NDAs, this issue won't go away.
Tony thinking he can buy everything, including silence, is causing a backlash. And if anyone deserves it, it's him for not allowing people to speak their mind and basically telling them "You got your money, now SHUT THE FUCK UP".
