I really like Nakajima a lot but there's at least one guy on this board who takes his markism for Finnerjima too far.
He's good.
But he's holding a title that Kojima and Nagata held recently -- two guys, legends yes, but dads who are literally jerking the curtain at NJPW shows. They are the opening act, the most under of the undercard, a position of respect and mentorship.
And the Triple Crown was a title that NJPW's third tier guys were holding, while not even being IN AJPW, very recently.
There are levels and hierarchies to Japanese wrestling and there is a world of difference between the positions of Okada and Nakajima.
If a match happens, it's most likely going to be similar to Okada's singles with Kaito in how it's booked and plays out. I would personally hope for something more like Marufuji's 2016 G1 and KOPW runs, as it made things more interesting if the matches were somewhat competitive, and there were some twists and turns.
