he used to reference WCW a lot in the formative months, like he said the womens division would be their version of the WCW cruiserweight division with joshis. But now it's anything but. Him hiring WCW legends like Sting, Arn, Tully and Flair I think shows he liked it though.

It's the most WCW promotion I've ever seen, maybe even more so than WCW. Tony is essentially speedrunning WCW from 1994-2001 right now.

I'm not denying it. I was a damn kid. When you're a kid you assume that everything is the most popular brand. Back in the 90s, all video games were referred to as Nintendo. Back in middle school you'd see an equal amount of peeps quoting DX or NWO. You can't expect a kid to know better, especially since when wcw actually did die.
