It's pro rasslin, most people's favorite moments don't really require "creative" booking, and something like a house of horrors match can be creative but not good. Making a big blonde charismatic dude champion in 1984 by beating a Sheik doesn't require Shakespearean analysis. AWA could have done the same, but with WWF came the best cameras, lighting, graphics, gear, music, merchandise, marketing, MTV, a cartoon, celebrities, etc. Vince is the greatest promoter ever, and maybe the most creative promoter also, but just as much "good creative booking" was happening in a Memphis TV studio, to name one.
