This is actually an interesting story you could tell if Cody loses again at Mania. His failures drive him over the edge and he becomes a darker take on his Undashing and Stardust gimmicks; I'm talking full Phantom of the Opera unhinged tier.

Cody gets eliminated in the rumble, enters again as Stardust, Wins. He then has to reluctantly maintain his "Stardust persona" if he wants the title match because technically Stardust won, not Cody.
