Guys that can be at the top and are currently babyfaces are pretty much just Hangman and Kenny, and Kenny isn't going for another main event run.
I guess someone like Darby could be built as an underdog champion but it seems like he's stuck in midcard feuds
There are some who could turn face and be great (Moxley, Danielson) but that's it.
Anyway, my point is that MJF could have been decent but he didn't have good opponents. And honestly, that's a problem most AEW champs had. AEW has a great midcard but when it comes to actual top guys they are really lacking some fresh blood
