It didn't draw in NXT so I don't understand why Tony is trying it here. There's a lot of guys in AEW who simply aren't big deals and this is a group of guys that aren't a big deal. It's made even laughable by Cole being injured.

It's a good gimmick. The difference between this stable and all the others in AEW is that the wrestlers don't suck. Taven and Bennett are legit. Wardlow is over. Strong is ok. At some point you'll get to see Maria's ass. As long as they keep Cole out of the ring and keep him on the mike, this works. It's a sign that AEW is moving on from Kenny and the Bucks and this is a really, really good thing.

TK is too autistic to make it work. He needs to stay off the mike and hire people to take care of this stuff for him. In the history of wrestling, Vince was unique. Very few promoters could pull off being part of the show. Nothing wrong with Danielson booking and Tony just overseeing the company.

And what happened to ECW and WCW? Are they still around? Maybe a promoter getting involved in performing isn't such a good idea. Maybe it's good to have somebody keep an eye on the bottom line instead of worrying about what his next storyline is.

An established tag team that is a proven draw that doesn't have the Brawl Out baggage that Kenny and the Bucks have is an obvious upgrade. In fairness, literal midget wrestlers would be an upgrade. What smark fucks like you don't understand is that when people talk about a "story" they are talking about rudimentary shit. Reasons for a match. Reasons for an action. It doesn't need to be complex. Cole was jealous of MJF. Joe needed help to beat MJF. They needed muscle. That's it. That's all you need. What pisses people off is transparent bullshit like Omega versus MJF. Kenny realized MJF was about to surpass the length of his title reign, so he booked a match with MJF. The ego-driven bullshit is what people can't stand and why they complain about lack of a story.

Wardlow is objectively better than Kenny. Kenny sucks on the mic and was never good at promos. Kenny is so sawdusted he can't even do singles matches anymore. Even when he could manage a full singles schedule, he couldn't work with anyone bigger than him, which is about 85% of the North American population, to include females. Kenny was always limited as a wrestler. If you have to book around Kenny weaknesses, why not book around Wardlow's weaknesses. Wardlow can at least work with your entire roster and is healthier.

I already admitted Vince was the exception. That worked. Personally I think if Vince had competition, that wouldn't have worked long-term either, but that part is just opinion. But owners being part of the show usually didn't work out in wrestling. Mostly because it's a business and you need to run it like a business.
