there is one guy that looked like someone that back in the day might have gotten some hype Moloney. And he's a UK guy so prob will just end up in AEW. Before you had the idea that NJPW and WWE never entered eachothers worlds unless someone jumped. Now you have guys like ospreay taking a huge check to go to a place that isnt a risk nor actually will elevate them.
Ospreay will just stay the same in AEW. He'll try to convince you he's "harder" bleeding doing what swerve did basically. We know the result. No one will care. It wont change anything. When guys went to WWE it was sink or swim. So you see a clark connors, you see a moloney. And you get 2 choices. Either they wallow in NJPW with no one in the roster to face or AEW takes them to catering where they end up mediocre.
There is zero risk being in NJPW, there is zero risking jumping from NJPW. That pressure has eliminated the talent cropping up.
And besides that the biggest showcase of this bullshit is omega and ibushi pretnending njpw held them back, all just to end up being in TNA 2.0 with ibushi & omega being shells of themselves.
And back a few years ago it felt like NJPW was really gonna make waves in america. But then tony, the elite, and their aewtist cult members legit thought "hey we will just do our show and njpw will give us talent for free". Dont let them rewrite history. They legit fucked njpws expansion and wanted to profit off of it themsleves bc the elite knew they were the expansion.
