It's fun to watch nowadays. I tuned out of wrestling for a while after the 2020 MITB though.

The Smackdown Live 2016 era was probably my favorite time to watch.

WWE never bought into the the "everyone should try to steal the show" mentality you got with ECW and all the indies after. And mainevents, until Cena, have always underperformed compared to their contemporaries.
I can't recommend sitting through Brutus Beefcake or Godfather matches so you can see an OK match with Hogan or Austin. Especially in the age of torrents and youtube.
