What's interesting about Christian's AEW run is he's about 90s/2000s Hogan and Savage's age, yet I couldn't imagine him doing an leader of an NWO type faction, filled with guys of his sort of generation, just as I can't imagine Hollywood Hogan or Savage doing Christian's current angle. You could argue Funk, but I don’t think his ECW run was the peak of his career. Mr. America was based, but Hogan hated it so calling it the peak of his creativity would be disingenuous. I think Jarrett's peaking rn so he may be another example.
