lots of zoomers here saying The Rock's schtick is outdated and what have you. So what schtick do they prefer? A charisma vacuum with no personality? I mean they love LA Knight supposedly, but he's a blatant rip off of Rock so i dont get the outdated dig, ya dig?

It's not the Rock's gimmick that's outdated.
Dwayne has been pumping himself full of HGH for 15 years only wrestling 4 matches in the timeframe and he's like 60.
Dwayne himself is the outdated one and while I hope he does okay, I'm very scared that he's going to Nash himself in the first 2 minutes of his match.

they might make it a pretty short but fast paced match at EC with Roman pretty much dominating Rock and beating him to further drive the story going into Mania that nobody can beat this guy. Im sure Cody will probably win it at Mania.

I think its more that zoomers can see through his fake ass Hollywood persona and he's not self aware enough to hide it better. People who grew up during his peak remember the good times so we forgive him for the most part since we remember him being one of the most over guys in the history of wrestling. Zoomers though, they weren't around for his peak so all they know of him is his fake Hollywood persona and his part time antics with WWE.

When Rocky Maivia got chanted at with death wishes, he turned heel.
People started liking him as a heel so he worked the gimmick and turned face, but was only a face against the Corporation really. Still a heel to everyone else, and he treated them that way.
When the Rock went away to do Scorpion King and came back, he came back as Hollywood Rock but people didn't like that. It's like Corporate Rock's promos mixed with Maivia's timbre, ew.
It's why he went back to being a heel before calling it quits and leaving for Hollywood for good.

Hollywood Rock wasnt riding the audience. He'd speak all this scripted stuff with built in applause breaks. Rocky Maivia would yell his catch phrases and the audience would try to catch up to him.

Man I miss that era. I'd love for Rocky Maivia to show back up for another run, especially against a jabrooni like LA Knight.
