I don't know why wrestling being "fake" is even a thing anymore. It was already exposed to the whole world in '80s and after that it became more popular than ever. Every show and movie is also fake in the same sense, yet no one screams constantly how the matches in Rocky were scripted and Rocky didn't actually fight anyone.

My dad was the one who got me into wrestling in the first place. I have a very clear memory of being 3 years old sitting on his lap whilst watching Nitro. He told me who Sting was and how he'd beat Undertaker like a dusty hoover bag.

I'm sorry your dad doesn't respect your interests. That's really shitty. But at least he's still around to talk to. My dad passed away and I just wish I could show him an AEW show so we could laugh at how shit it is. I know he'd think Kenny Omega was a massive poofter. He used to fucking despise Jericho for being a gayboy.
