Current WWE is so soulless and vapid, just like every other major entertainment corporation. Sign of the times, really.

LA Knight is winning the title at RR but not by pinning Reigns
Reigns then faces Rock at EC for leadership of the bloodline - he doesn’t need the title for this and they can paint the picture that everything is crumbling around him - he lost Jey and now the title. Maybe hint at Paul reaching out to Brock/CM Punk and Jimmy reaching out to Jey/Sammy. Meanwhile Roman continues his decline of mental stability and paranoia. He can beat Rock 1 on 1 and crush his demons, shoring himself back up as the top dog and challenging LA at Mania to win back his title

This for me was when it was last white hot. Cooled off a bit after Mania and by Summerslam it's been painfully average for WWE and hasn't gotten much better since. Hoping things pick up again for Mania season but with the pieces at play I'm not overly hopeful
