This is between Roman and Batista.
Both matches were terrible and both of them failed to get over from it so they had to change the Mania plans for both of them.
Regardless, Batista made it work as a heel despite (plans changed) Roman was still being pushed as a face despite the fact the entire crowd rejecting him and that ending to the Rumble with Rock was so pathetic. It also matters in that, Batista's win came the year prior, so WWE should've known how to prevent this shit or at least book Roman in the Rumble properly. Instead of just eliminating everyone like he did the year prior, he played bitch most of the match and they let Kane and fucking Big Show kill the match to a halt.

Edge, eh. Bryan would've been better but they ended up doing it anyway. WWE likes the return surprise win, so I can't be too mad.
