>>12894736There were 6 Men's matches on last night's Collision and 1 Women's match. It was 4:1 on Dynamite. Rampage did have 2 matches though (1 Squash) so I'll grant you that one
I do resent the idea that the women aren't "getting over" and so their time is scaled back -- and yet Roddy was allowed to be an annoying geek for *months* before [allegedly] breaking through. Fans want to have it both ways: they insist that having a talent forced down their throats won't get them over, but every time it happens (Britt Baker, Roddy, Julia, Bullet Club Gold, etc) then magically those talents "get over"
It can't possibly be that hard to trim 5-8 minutes off of all the men's matches (rest holds, brawling outside the ring for every single match, etc) and give it to the women. Even if it's just Willow+Stat beating the Renegade Twins in 5 minutes, it's something. It brings more wives/women to the shows, and doesn't allow the "just a piss break" excuse to be used.
>>12894771All good points, thank you. It looks like Giulia plans to move to the US no matter what, so that could have been Stardom's call to make, to break up DDM regardless, whether part-time or full-time.
AEW isn't going to be impressing Mercedes OR Giulia if they continue booking the Women the way they are. So we'll have to see if they telegraph their interest by increasing Women involvement in the shows, which I hope they do.
