Jay White vs. Tomohiro Ishiii at G1 CLIMAX 32 Night 4 is an especially underrated match because it's a perfect introduction to the type of character Jay White is. Him trying to communicate with the audience through clapping was especially entertaining considering the COVID restrictions they had to abide by at the time.

What did you expect from booking Jay White or all people, a dude who counters and psychs out his opponents, to be a dominant heel fighting a man with an injured leg competitively and then losing tona cheap trick after half an hour?
That's literally having Jay White work contrary to his own style for the sake of an angle that made no sense. Could have been a based trickster battle instead but Tony needed to pile on stupid angles all of a sudden that made everything worse.
