>In a Talk Is Jericho podcast episode (h/t Wrestling Inc.) that was recorded in front of a live audience during one of Jericho’s cruises, Cody Rhodes and the host got into a specific story of CM Punk trying to play the locker room leader card. Before naming names, both men agreed that anyone who went around calling himself the locker room leader was not, in fact the leader, though Rhodes acknowledged that Punk’s self-assessment “worked on a certain demo of the locker room.”
>According to Rhodes, Punk identified himself as the locker room leader and proceeded to tell everyone present how important it was to call him Chez now and to spread that message backstage. The message itself wasn’t particularly controversial, but Punk’s assertion of seniority over the other talent was. So, in direct response to Punk’s comments, Booker called him a "b*tch ass n*gga" in defiance.
