It's simple. The Reigns reign is very tiring and you just want it to end, and Cody is best poised to do that the soonest, and it's your best hope.

Once Cody has the belt and the story is finished, you may hate him again, but really, this is just about progressing the fucking story. Forget about finishing it. WWE is stale as crap.

I was in the crowd that chanted "Throw it back" and "You deserve it" and I would use the Cody timers on Raw just to watch his segments. Cody's a draw and him boomeranging is the only thing that can save AEW (and WWE knows this so he will continue to be Mr. Raw.)
