>>12922963>Tony had to go against a billion dollar WWE, with no brand recognitionTony had more money than WWE. He had tons of business connections from daddy to leverage a TV deal.. He had a ton of WWE big names- Jericho is a big name whatever people say, Moxley was a big name, Bryan main evented Mania the year that Tony fucking signed him that's literally the biggest get you could have outside of Cena or Roman. He had a roster of IWC favourites with a social media presence. He had endless sycophantic positive press online. He had a built-in fanbase of millions of fans driven away by WWE's bullshit or tedium over the previous 18 years, who were desperate for an alternative, so desperate they'd sympathy cheer/boo everything to "help the product" because they wanted a big company that wasn't WWE.
He had the most favourable start in wrestling history and has taken all of that initial momentum and goodwill and gone nowhere with it. Vince had a regional brand name with a TV deal, connections similar to Tony, and MSG, and turned it into the world's biggest company.
>"hardship"Name literally anything Tony has been through equivalent to Vince's early years. Daddy refusing him new toys doesn't count.
