So recently, I just found out Tamina had supposedly retired. I got excited but wondered her overall legacy as a wrestler. Aside from being a nepo-baby, Tamina was employed for well over a decade as a background 'powerhouse' character. I remember her little debut with Usos as some sort of new-age late 2000s islander stable "We ain't savages no more, we've been to college, foreal!" However, all these years, she never had a classic match. No memorable moments, no interesting feuds, I don't even really recall anything noteworthy from Tamina's entire career. She kissed Tozawa for comedy, I guess? And maybe had a brief tag team with Nia Jax...or something. Hell, you take a look at other female wrestlers from mid-late 2000s to early 2010s like Jillian Hall Kelly Kelly, Melina, Alicia Fox, Maryse, etc all served a purpose & were much more entertaining than ol' Tamina. I know they other chicks like Rosa Mendes and Aksana but even those chicks were at least somewhat alright-looking. However, unlike Nia Jax or Awesome Kong, Tamina was lacking charisma or in-ring presence as a bigger, quarterback-type muscle or henchwoman. Man...she just had NOTHING to offer overall. We got like 10 years of that, s.m.h.
