They'll never be seen as anything other than superhero slop for morons and children by the general public. It's not helped by the fact that you basically can't buy them outside of comic book stores, which are mostly horribly embarrassing to be seen inside.
It's weird, you would think that the largest film franchise of all time being based on Marvel Comics would do some work to legitimizing the medium, but the comics themselves are still basically seen as the domain of weirdos, despite normies trying to claim comic accuracy is important to them.
