I finally figured out what makes his promos so captivating. It's not just whether he's right or wrong, or his delivery, or how he blurs kayfabe. It's the way he structures his promos. It always builds up to something greater, at a steady but energetic pace. He keeps you hooked on wanting to hear what's next without being overbearing, or trying too hard. He reacts to what is delivered back, both visually and verbally. Notice how segments involving him don't meander around in a void.
I've tried to not like him, but he's just too far ahead of the rest with these subtle details. A natural talent.
