WWE signed devitt. Marks found out that njpw and bullet club exist. Start pretending they never watched WWE and only watch new Japan as a cope despite blatantly knowing nothing about it. This later increases when AJ Styles goes to WWE. This fanfare creates the audience that ultimately leads to aew.
New Japan makes deals with companies and since BC are the foreign groups they usually add guys from the partner company to BC to keep a link and then njpw forgets about it. But they stole Los Ingobwrnables the same way from CMLL.
ROH had geek BC members in Cole and Hangman and Scurll. Jeff Jarrett was in somehow. Jay White worked TNA during COVID so he added Bey so he could have a tag partner. Ace Austin worked BOSJ and was added and neither have worked with New Japan since. AEW has a spinoff cope group with Jay and Juice who both left njpw. WWE made weird bootleg versions with some of the old members.
The Elite was a weird spin off of bullet club but really it was some geeks who never really integrated with the faction trying to steal all the heat and get themselves over in advance if them leaving with a rebrand that the rest of the faction ignored and just stopped working with them.
