I wish every match in AEW didn't have to be heatless back and forth "action." So much of their roster are natural born jobbers and would be infinitely more entertaining bumping around making someone else look good than they do hitting all the smark approved moves.
A team of useless heels with a super annoying manager jobbing to all the could be heroes would be great TV. There's a reason Disco Inferno was a ratings draw, people want to see their guy shut up noisy wimp.

It was really fucking weird when MJF formed them, introduced them, used them to attack Mox, was betrayed by them, and stopped feuding with them all in like 6 weeks. These guys beat the shit out of Mox at GCW and is the reason he lost the GCW title.

Big Bill literally has had a match at wrestlemania. Getting him to the point where he can have one of AEW’s 95 belts is not some sort of impressive achievement. He could’ve won the tag belts with or without this faction ever existing.

I will always remember this, but not that they were called the Firm. One of the cleanest examples of Tony's bad booking
>MJF returns after no selling Wardlow beating him
>Wardlow at this point is already a cold midcard geek
>MJF returns in a mask and wins a ladder match without going into the ring in a WOAT finish involving a manlet manager winning it for him in a ring full of alleged top guys

>MJF randomly turns baby-face on his faction that he was never involved with and they beat him up which is never paid off or mentioned again
>He then turns heel again and wins the title, only to turn baby-face later in a comedy angle with Adam Cole to set up Cole turning heel on him while both are injured and using the stupid mask again
>The firm would never appear as a full group again, but would become friends with Matt Hardy and then vanish.

Gunns had been there years and had turned on big show on TV with no follow up
Bill had come in as a big signing with a debut after being over in TNA and then forgotten about. He was also popular in WWE and more known than most aew talent.
Moriarty was in his top rookies trio with Garcia and Yuta until he forgot him. Moriarty was also the most experienced of the three and the best worker.
Page had been in a top heel act for a long time before this.
Stokely was coming off of a WWE run and was pushed as a huge signing. He was Jade Cargill's manager and they never explained why he wasn't doing that anymore when they shat this half-baked faction out.
