WWE is drawing well in wrestling, but other promotions aren't. 10+ promotions just in the US alone drew over 10,000 fans in 1983. Only two in the entire US can do that now, and only maybe 5 in the world can. The WWF used to run places like MSG and Boston Gardens 12 times a year. They run them once or twice a year now. Small territories used to run small cities in the US weekly. Indies now maybe run them once a month.
It's a good time to be a fan due to technology, which wrestling had little to do with. Despite the world having access to various promotions though, they aren't really growing.
