>Sting goes over Hogan at Starrcade clean
>Hogan demands a rematch, Savage screws him over to help Sting retain
>Bret shows up, teams up with Sting to face the Outsiders and Hogan faces Savage
>Hogan loses to Savage and leaves for the rest of 1998. Bret & Sting become tag team champions
>Build up Sting and Bret as tag champions with a match at Bash at the Beach looming over them
>Bret eventually turns heel on Sting & wins the championship, forming a all-Canadian faction with Benoit, Neidhart and Bulldog
>Goldberg vs Bret for the WCW Championship at Halloween Havoc, So Bret doesn't get kicked Sting jumps the barricade & returns to cost him the match, Goldberg spears him & wins the title.
>Chris Jericho gets his match with Goldberg at Fall Brawl, he loses and moves to the US title division to feud with Benoit.
>DDP wins World War III and challenges Goldberg at Starrcade 98
>First Nitro of 1999, Hogan returns with the Red and Yellow and challenges Goldberg for the world title.
