The Women need more live mic time and a 2nd (non-squash) match on both 2 hour shows. They don't need to be 12 minutes through the commercial break - but let the wrestlers make their entrance, show off their costumes, do their routine, then start the match, hit their signatures, hit the finish, done. 5-7 minutes total. It's really, truly not that complicated.
Instead we keep getting fucking bullshit like Claudio vs Matt Sydal, that should last 3 minutes but somehow goes 9. How is that helping either party? It's not, its a waste of time. Did Hangman really need 10:38 to put away fatass JD Drake? No. Should have been 6 minutes tops then hand him a mic and let him address the home crowd -- "I'm going to beat Swerve's ASS and then Im coming for the AEW World Title!!"
Time should have been chopped EVERYWHERE to make room for a 2nd women's match but Tony just doesn't care about having an appealing wrestling company, including for the Women. His entire attitude is, "I'll just write you the biggest check and we'll figure the rest out later".....which means New Toy gets all the spotlight, older toys get the rampage/roh/jobber status, and oldest toys sit at home until their contract runs out.
Who in their right mind signs up for AEW as it is now, other than for the money?
