I don't feel as excited for mania this year but I'm more excited for the rumble than I was last year. anybody else or just me?

I tried to hype myself up to watch Wrestlemania last year then the day came and I just didn't care. Too bad apparently some of the matches were good but I wasn't invested at all. I haven't watched since 2016

Same since the mania card is already basically confirmed. there's no reason to get excited since its just a formality. rumble actually seems unpredictable and im not sure how they will format it

Only 2 people who could realistically win the rumble (Punk and Cody)
Reigns is 100% returning through more Samoan shenanigans
Sethwinslol if he defends his title
Gunther could drop the IC to go on paternity leave but they haven’t built anyone up yet and him and his boys are messing about with the new fags. Potentially big E returns to dethrone him but I wouldn’t pop for that
Womeme rumble might actually be the only exciting match because there’s always a few fun spots, lots of women in ring gear and always a few nostalgia pops from me for returning legends of my first wanks

It’s because all roads to mania lead to a shit feud and match between Roman and Rock while the Rumble itself feels like a multitude of winners might come out of it so the match is genuinely exciting in of itself and that’s even if the winner somehow winds up being The Rock.

Cody was basically the only serious name to win last year's rumble. Remember that we didn't even have two championships, so anyone but Cody winning would have been a major surprise. Now there are a bunch of names being floated for the winner and it's not even clear who the winner will choose to fight. But we already know that 'mania itself will have some variant of Roman vs Cody and the Rock and Seth vs Phil.
