Reality: there is no "highlight reel/Miz TV" sort of AEW segment, there's rarely dueling promos with multiple mics, there's no authority figure, there's rarely gimmick or stipulation matches (other than No DQ), no arm wrestling/bench press competition/etc. AEW is nothing like WWE in that regard.
By that same token, Tony lacks the backbone to make AEW Stars show up at least once a week, no matter what and alternate shows. So if you buy a ticket for Collision a few weeks in advance, you already know there's basically no shot you will see Young Bucks (Have had matches on 0/30 Collisions), Hangman (1/30), Orange Cassidy (3/30), Swerve (3/30), and so on. You want to watch AEW in person on a Saturday? Enjoy your show with JD Drake, Matt Sydal and other jobbers.
The show can't get better unless and until TK trims the fat and forces his stars to show up every week. You aren't getting 1 million with Samoa Joe beating up some twink for 20 minutes. You don't get it with Kingston and OC in their own little universes, racking up worthless title defenses against nobodies. You need Danielson, Moxley, Miro, Copeland, Swerve, Darby, Jay White, all swarming over the top AEW world and mid-card belts -- not zombie brand 6 man titles and other trash.
