The Dome is probably too big for this, especially as they're running out of novelty matches until Tsuji, Shooter, Yuya and Ren become big deals. I'd do it at Budokan or Sumo Hall, if not somewhere outside of Tokyo.

Tokyo Dome would be silly. AEW doesn't have anywhere kind the pull of that. You do it at the Budokan and sell it out.

Same rumor popped up last year but it never came to fruition, Tony has already said that Forbidden Door is a western exclusive PPV and if they're going to Japan it'll be under a different name and in a different venue.

This, Budokan & Sumo Hall are good venues to test a collab show like this far more than a Dome like Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka. I think Sumo Hall is also cheaper than Budokan to book.
