I think he was just destined to be second tier similar to guys like Scott Hall, Jake Roberts, Arn Anderson. Plus he got hurt. Maybe he could have had a run during the Bret, Backlund, Diesel era if he didn't get hurt.

Can you imagine all the lil kids he had hate him in that era? Dude was a great heel. Him and Rude always rustled my jimmies as a kid. Easily one of the greats. Only the Miz has compared, at least in my opinion. Wish this dude's life and career were longer.
