So, why did he go to TNA when he had the chance to be a super gaijin in nwjp? Or why not just take the cushy khan contract and just work occasionally while focusing on his comedy/acting stuff?

TNA is just as cushy with even ess dates and less travel

I don't think Tony ever even offered one. AEW doesn't need him as they have too many WWE shitters already sitting in catering.

But he should have gone to NJPW. It would have raised his profile immensely, especially if he led a BC revival

He only has to work 4 dates a month or so in TNA and probably be a main eventer. Seems like a reasonable deal over getting stuck doing multi man matches in aews roster
