>>13021869This anon gets it. If there was no paperwork shutting Jericho up, then he wouldn't be able to resist talking about it, trying to clear his name, talking about the dozens of other female wrestlers who can vouch for him, who he's helped out in the past, etc. He would quite literally never shut up and you'd never hear the end of it. And Tony would have his back the entire time, declaring "There is no NDA, I encourage Jericho to clear his name, he's earned that right even if it means airing some dirty laundry"
We know what it is here. We also know the guy losing tens of millions per year would have no problem tying Brian Last, Cornette, Hausman, or (YOU) up in court, draining you of a few hundred thousand, for relating what I'm saying now on Twitter or YouTube.
>>13021856It's not about consensual or not - it's about who is going to open their mouth, who is going to go to the dirt-sheets, who is going to tell/not tell his wife, AEW losing out on top female free agents, younger guys not feeling they can trust their WAGs around Jericho, and so on
In a vacuum, nobody cares if Jericho and some Dark/ROH jobber get it on. But if it became (in 2019) common knowledge that Jericho was liquoring up young AEW women to get them alone and sleep with them, it becomes an insanely sleazy and predatory thing to do given his considerable backstage clout and how he's considered to be a VP in all but name only
The fact Tony won't come out and admit there's an NDA, and that's why Jericho can't/won't speak on the situation, it speaks volumes. It's one thing if there's pending litigation or criminal charges, but this ain't that.
