I watched Smackdown last night because Okada might be going there. I decided I would just try it.

So the last two matches of the show were LA Knight vs. AJ Styles, AJ I know and love and Knight is a guy I hear about so I thought it might be worth watching.
They were in the ring for all of 3 minutes before they went to the outside and the match ended in some awful DQ with like 5 different people interfering. I had no idea what the fuck was even going on.

The last match was Randy Orton vs. Solo Sikoa and god damn, I'll just say this: if Okada goes to WWE, watching it is going to be like pulling fucking teeth. Agony. Every match is like House of Torture times 10,000. I genuinely have no idea how the fuck anybody watches it.

you picked a really angle heavy smackdown to watch to be fair. hhh usually has a lot longer matches on shows, but this week was just pure set up for the rumble match. you have to remember hhh is a huge workrate smark too.

No, I watched the horrible workrate matches too.

The two embarrassing British midgets vs. Pretty Deadly was one of the lamest things I've ever seen. It literally looked like a pair of leprechauns attacking fully grown adults. The guys got 0 reaction.
The blonde guy looks like he's wrestling in his underwear and just has a really awkward, stubby physique and Pete Dunne is a notorious shitter who does the "muh fingers" shit even worse than Marty Scurll.

Ironically GOK's entrance last night was exactly the level of seriousness I've wanted to see his gimmick have for a while, and then the actual match was a complete comedy goof and I can't even tell if the burying of GOK's athletic abilities was a work or a shoot. I think it's purely a size a thing, anyone can make a chop look nasty but big tough guys are the only ones who can make machine chops look good and even then some big guys simply don't have the speed and dexterity to make it work.

I think at least wrapping the opponent's arms around the ropes or just immobilizing them in some way makes the chops look more sensible though
