>>13031514Even if that were true, which I find highly dubious for two reasons, 1. AEW's not gonna pay him that much money to not use him, 2. Even if they did, Okada would probably be fine not being on the road, not taking bumps and just spending time with his wife and kid. But let's say hypothetically, that's what would happen if he went to AEW. AEW doesn't use him very often, he's just collecting checks for nothing and as a passionate, dedicated craftsman who wants to preform, he finds this state of affairs objectionable.
AEW allows outside bookings. He can just take dates in Japan. He can keep taking dates for New Japan, because they have a partnership with AEW. He can run his own produce shows. Or when he's negotiating with Tony Khan, he can put it in the contract, you have to use me X amount of times in Y amount of time, or I'm leaving and going to WWE.
He's Kazuchika fucking Okada. He's the greatest wrestler in the world. He can do whatever the fuck he wants.
