They tried to start a company OWE years ago but they never got much further than bringing in CIMA and Dragongate guys to train Chinese wrestlers. I think the Chinese government and covid killed it though. CIMA and some of his guys did appear in AEW early on IIRC.

Oh man, I remember when AEW sent SCU to work OWE shows and some mark in the crowd yelled their catchphrases at them as they weren't allowed to say them (namely "This is... the WORST town... I've EVER been in!")
