Before AEW, WWE sucked, sure, but NJPW was fucking based.
Now NJPW is bleeding out big-time, WWE is slightly better but I still can't watch it and AEW exists which also sucks. He just cut the fingers off of indie and gookshit to add another mediocre western show.

If some dogshit wrestlers are getting paid so much that they stop caring about entertaining the audience, then the shows become mediocre and matches are littered with botches. It’s impossible to do more damage than Vince. Vince literally killed the entire format of professional wrestling as it was known at the time he literally took down an entire territory system. I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing. He was a ruthless businessman, who fucked on any competitor, who dared even exist. You cannot compare Tony to that. I theorize that Tony is an unwitting double agent. It's hard to believe that Shad would suddenly give him his "inheritance" upfront when Shad can afford lots of life extending treatment. That's not how rich people behave with their money. The timing of AEW's founding is suspicious. It came mere months after All In and anyone who has a finger of a pulse on this shit would have rightfully called its success an anomaly. Indie wrestling was a minor niche for decades. There's a reason why billionaires never capitalized on whatever momentum it gathered. It's an inefficient way to make money.

Once you have eyes to see, you see it. AEW isn't a legitimate business. There is something ulterior at play with its continued existence.
