The Cody cutter fucking SUCKS. How the fuck can you use what is essentially an enhanced rko and never pin anyone with it? That's fucking preposterous.

I think Cross Rhodes is really stupid looking.
In general though I hate watching insane spotfest matches where guys are falling off cages and shit and the pin ends up being made with a guy's (relatively, compared to everything else in the match) finisher. I remember the Gargano/Adam Cole era of NXT being REALLY bad about this.

some of these moves shouldnt be finishers, ill except signature but the cody cutter for example loses all its appeal when its done every match.

the problem is theyre told to put on a show as if no one has ever seen it before to get people interested and to keep interested people excited. it severely waters it down. the same goes for all those long lasting multi finisher matches

Still awful, the move makes no sense no matter who does it. If you want to do a flippy shit cutter/stunner the both wrestlers should be facing the other way

I think Cody cutter could work as a finisher he uses very sparingly. Like he ducks a clothesline and hits the Cody cutter for an "rko outta nowhere" kinda spot. Again, using it very sparingly because it looks fake as fuck if he uses it in every other match.

I dont think anyone scrolling who doesnt watch wrestling is going to see guys flipping around and 'get' it. When I was a kid, I started watching wrestling because I tuned in during promos.

Ted Dibiase saying everyone has a price and throwing money around. Macho Man being intense as fuck at all times. Warrior yelling into the camera. Iron Sheik. They were in full character.

my issue isn't the finisher itself, its that darby is too small to be using it. its not very impactful for a 150lb man to do a senton like that, if it was like keith lee doing it you might have a point. it does look good in hardcore matches though i will agree
