>>13056274>>13056393>>13059833The main event of Raw last night was heel vs heel which almost NEVER happens in WWE. Although Drew seems to be more of a face finishing his transition to heel (but as as far as I'm concerned he's the best face in wrestling right now with the most kino segments) and Damian is a heel who might be just starting a transition to face.
Regardless, judging by how commentary speaks of them they are both currently heels and it was surprising to see them close Raw (although the "main event" of Raw isn't always the final segment anymore it seems). I actually like the blurred lines of who is muh good guy and bad guy, let the fans decide who they want to cheer in some cases, and in other cases you can still have bonerfried (spelling?) heels and faces. It makes for a more compelling product and is more in line with tv shows of today.
The only problem with that is sometimes you are not going to get the strong live crowd reactions you are looking for if people have mixed feelings. On a related note last night was the first time I saw a true 50-50 split in the audience between 2 dueling faces (Cody and Phil) which was interesting. Phil is still a failed mma faggot though.
