The Netflix deal makes no sense to me. 5 billion for a company that fails to generate new fans? Did we forget that ratings are at an all time low? The Washington Commanders football team recently sold for 6 billion, which is only 1 billion more. NFL, even the worst teams, draw way more ratings, merch sales, ticket sales, than WWE could even dream of. Yet Netflix is willing to pay 5 billion? For what exactly? Netflix is NEVER going to make that money back. How could they?
